Abstract Photography

In this project, we were tasked with either capturing life in color or abstract photography. I chose to capture five abstract photos by looking at things from a different perspective. At first, I found this project hard, but as time went on, I started to see things from angles I never thought to think of.

This is a photo of a plastic bowl close up. I saw the bowl’s cool pattern and texture and decided to capture it.

This is an image of the Fire and Steel trailer. To get an abstract view, I used exclusion and cropped the shot to only have the cracked lines instead of the whole trailer.

This is a picture of my ceiling fan lightbulb. I looked up and saw how it looked like smoke and decided to capture an image of it.

To get this interesting point of view, I zoomed the camera lens to get a close-up shot of a keychain. This creates a cool pattern which I took a picture of.

To create the contrast of harsh lighting, I turned in the flash and focused close up to a canvas to get this shot.
