When I was taking this picture, I was on a cruise in the Bahamas. I was on the highest deck and saw boats speeding by, so I just took a picture of one that got close. I had to crop the picture to make it look abstract. I aimed to get an aerial shot of the boat and its trail. I learned that when taking a photo, it is only sometimes the first picture that is the best. As I was taking this photo, I adjusted the angle I was holding my camera.
