Light Table Project

For this project we were assigned to use a light table in order take five bracketed sets of photos. We had to choose three sets out of the five and publish them with this blog post.

Set 1

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/125 | +1

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/125 | +1

F 8 | ISO 125 | 1/80 | +1

This set’s subject was a small container full of a goldish colored soap. I didn’t need to heighten the exposure to plus two or plus three, because it would overexpose the photos. I took three different angles of this subject, a birds eye view, an angle from the side and another angle from the side but peeking into the the tub.

Set 2

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/125 +1

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/125 +1

f 8 | ISO 100 | 1/125 | +1

For this set I used a blow glass cup filled about halfway with water and took photos of it from three angles. Another bird’s eye, from the side, and another from the top but angles towards the opening of the glass. I didn’t change the exposure above plus one either because the photos would’ve become over exposed.

Set 3

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/80 | +1

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/100 | +1

F 8 | ISO 100 | 1/100 | +1

For the last set I used a leaf from a bush located in the Courtyard. I had the light table try and project the leaf’s colors, instead its kind of just lit the leaf up. Also, as you can see for the last photo of the set, I used the glass to give an artistic reflection of the leaf.
