For this project we were supposed to go and take photos using light. We had to take two photos of light art and two photos of light writing. I was just trying to experiment with the photos and I wanted to see what works best for the photos.
For this photo I tried to use a black background and write the word “dark” because I thought that writing the word “light” would be too generic. I was trying to make the photo ironic by saying the work dark when it was actually light. I had tried to use a lighter background, but it made the light reflect off the shelves too brightly.
For this photo I made a stick figure because I was experimenting with light painting and I wanted to see how it would look. I used a lighter background for a little more of a glare and I liked the style it gave the photo.
This photograph I wanted to make a star and try something new. I accidentally moved my camera while shooting this photograph and made it a little blurry but, I liked the way it made the photo look. However, I had used a higher angle and a darker background to make a better photograph.
For this photo I just wrote my name and wanted to keep the photo simple. I used a darker background to make a sharper image. I tried to make the background lighter but it through off the lights brightness.
