For this project, I was assigned the task of taking multiple photos that either incorporated or conveyed a certain subject. The subjects were take a photo with strong foreground interest, an image that conveys drama, image that conveys solitude, an image that incorporates movement, an image in black and white, an image that breaks the rules of photography, and an image of a reflection. Here are my results.
I took this photo as a close to the tree limb as possible in order to get as much detail in the foreground without blurring it.
I took this photo by placing myself at the end of the walkway and having a fellow student rummage through her backpack. I used a monochrome filter to try and point the subject matter more towards drama.
I used a reflection photo in order to frame this image. I used my classmate and put him in the frame in order to create this feeling of loneliness.
This photo was taken from the top of the water fountain where the water is spewed from. I put a rock in the rushing water to create a more interesting photograph.
I took this photo because I thought it was a simple angle and a nice spin on an image. I took this photo in color at first but wanted to make a simple black and white photo.
This photo was a low shutter speed picture I took at the Pond. This photo doesn’t have a subject, rule of thirds, and a focal point.
I wanted to do something interesting for my reflection photo. So I found a way to angle myself so that the Painting of our school would be visible.
