Portrait Project

For this task we were instructed to take six portrait photos. Each with their own backgrounds and contrasts. (Reflector photo not done because the reflector is missing.)

ISO 6400 | f5 | 1/4000

For this portrait I did, I used soft lighting and a natural background. I had Santiago sit underneath the Gazebo and sit on the bench facing away from the fountain. I had him look to the left (his right) so I would be able to capture the fountain and eagle.

ISO 6400 | f5 | 1/4000

For my directional light portrait I had Santiago look to the right (his left) and dimmed the light for aesthetic. I took this photo inside the English Classroom using the black background and a studio light.

ISO 800 | f9 | 1/200

This is a portrait that uses props and has a natural background. As I took this photo I had Santiago aim the camera as if he were about to take a photo. This photo was taken in front of the pond, in the courtyard.

ISO 6400 | f4.5 | 1/4000

This is my strong lighting portrait. Is had Santiago lay down on some fake grass and had him try to get half way in the sunlight and halfway in the shade. In doing so, I was able to present a large contrast in lighting.
