Exposure: Nature

In this assignment, we looked at exposure and I chose to capture nature. Exposure controls the amount of light in a photograph. I needed to find things in nature and photograph them in a way that I haven’t seen before.

This guy was placed on top of a skylight. I liked the design it has. The speed was 1/80 sec at f/5.6, with an ISO of 1250.
I had to get on the floor to get this close-up shot of a horseshoe crab. The speed is at 1/50 sec at f/4.5, with an ISO of 320.
I like the slight distortion that the water creates and it looks like the viewer is in the water as well. The image was shot with a speed of 1/30 sec at f/4.5, with an ISO of 400.
I liked the lighting in this spot. The speed is at 1/40 sec at f/4, with an ISO of 500.
I took many pictures of jellyfish, but this one is my favorite. It looks alien and angelic at the same time. I loved the details of it and the other jellyfish in the frame. The image was shot at 1/40 sec at f/4.5, with an ISO of 500.
I normally don’t like neon, but I liked it on these marine plants. I shot the image at a speed of 1/50 sec at f/4.5, with the ISO at 1600.
