Portrait project

In this project, we studied the different types of portrait photos. In this project, you will see strong lighting, reflector framing, soft lighting, directional lighting, and environmental.

Strong lighting

Strong lighting is a photo that involves lots of light to brighten the image.

The reflector is used to brighten an image or add more color to a person or object to make it pop. It can be skin tone or just a color on an object.

Framing is an image with the focus in the middle while having an object surrounding that focus to draw the eyes in.

Soft lighting

Soft lighting is used with natural light. Nothing too bright and nothing too dark.

Directional lighting

Directional lighting’s purpose is to have lighting foreign on one side of the object or person. This will show more depth and more feeling to the image.

Environmental is used to tell a story about a person or object using props.
